BlackJack

UNIVERSALLY COMPATIBLE WITH ALL HOSPITAL BEDS AND NURSE CALL SYSTEMS

THE ONLY MAGNETIC BREAKAWAY NURSE CALL CABLE

Most hospitals experience problems with broken bed cables and damaged walls when nurses or techs move hospital beds without disconnecting the cables first. With most hospitals using a 37 pin port system that connects the hospital bed to the bed interface unit and nurse call system, even one bent pin can render the cable completely useless.

At best, these damaged cables might mean greater inefficiency while waiting for the cable to be fixed or replaced, and at worst, might cost the hospital major repairs for the electrical wiring or wall. Either way, it means spending time and money on something that a hospital could better use elsewhere.

Finally, a solution for this problem: the Blackjack.

Description

The quick disconnect device can be oriented at the wall or on the bed side of the cable.Ā  If the bed is moved without disconnecting, the cable automatically breaks away from the jack to prevent damage. The break can occur at the bed or the wall.

These sturdy cables are available for Hill-Rom, Linet, Stryker, CHG, and all other Hospital Beds that communicate with a 37 pin port.

The breakaway end of the cable contains 37 individually spring-loaded, gold-plated connectors which are held together by magnets.Ā  When married to an adapter ā€œbrickā€, the cable maintains connectivity while resisting damage and corrosion.Ā  The polarity of the magnets prevent caregivers from seating the contacts in the wrong direction.
